Hugh proposed on 1st December in London after seeing the fabulous Lion King musical. It was so good that Susie accepted and immediately made plans for some serious sparkly ring shopping on Oxford Street.
We both wanted a sunny and relaxed wedding, so decided to get married abroad. Malta seemed the ideal island and one call later we had a wedding co-ordinator and a date - 28 September 2007.
The wedding in the palace was fantastic, as was the meal in the traditional Maltese restaurant afterwards. You can check out the photos on the wedding page.
